Eclectus parrots need very specialized diets and lots of understanding as adults. They’re very prone to pluck, so do your research before purchasing or adopting one of these guys.

Eclectus parrots are often labelled and sold as quiet birds. They can be quiet, BUT they also have the capacity to be very, very loud. This is one of the quieter calls, but if you hear it in person, it carries through every room and makes your skin crawl.
I had the pleasure of hearing an eclectus screaming in person a few weeks ago. it was crazy.
